What made you want to be in a band and learn to play bass? I am one of those people that just has to sing! I used to frequent many karaoke bars but did not enjoy having to give back the mic so joining a band I suppose was a natural progression. Learning to play bass was a necessity as we needed a bassist but its been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I do have to say I feel extremely lucky to have found a band which contains within it top class people that have become my very best friends. Which artist inspires your music the most? I think, Paul McCartney because he has always been someone I have aspired to be like. What is you favourite song to play on stage? I really do have several to choose one is mean, so I'm gonna choose two. I really enjoy singing Creep because its quite challenging vocally, and Day Tripper because its more challenging on the bass. If you could make anyone else in the world join Xebra, who would it be and why? Kylie Minogue; it would be nice to watch her dance in front of me! How would your band mates describe you in four words? Away with the fairies. Would you rather be in the studio or playing live? Playing live, always, we feed of the love and throw it back out there. What current instrument(s) are you gigging? My Custome bass, 'the Gazumper'. What is your favorite album ever? I have quite a few favourites but the Beatles White Album is one that stands out, also Hunky Dory by David Bowie. What was the first record you ever owned? Can't really remember, but it was probably a Queen album. What is the best gig you have ever been to see? REM, because they where AWESOME! Do you have any hobbies away from music? I enjoy football, and used to enjoy martial arts, the latter is something I wish to get back into. If you were an animal what would you be and why?
